Psychotherapy
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I use a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to lay the foundation for a growth-fostering relationship. I am trained in and have experience in a variety of therapy techniques and approaches, which I tailor to best support you and your goals. My aim is to help you build new skills to cope with life's challenges and to help you process the impact of past experiences on your current life and relationships while learning about the different parts of yourself. Through our work together I hope to help you find change or acceptance to build a healthier relationship with yourself and others.
Somatic Therapy & Embodiment Work
"Movement is giving your body a voice" - Anonymous Author
As a Somatic Therapist, I incorporate the lens of the body and nervous system as part of the therapeutic process. As humans, we use our body and its experiences to process and understand our own emotions. As every individual is different, this work will look different for everyone. No prior movement or dance experience is necessary or required.
